A fierce advocate for her clients with insider knowledge, Lorrie began her career working for large law firms representing corporations and insurance companies. However, Lorrie knew she wanted to fight for the individuals who were being taken advantage of by insurance companies and large employers so she joined forces with Walker Law PC and has never looked back. Lorrie’s extensive courtroom experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the “defense side” of a case make her an invaluable asset to any person who has been exploited by their own insurance company or treated unfairly at work. Lorrie has experience interpreting complex insurance policies and coverage decisions to find coverage for losses ignored or hidden in order to maximize insurance payments to clients. Lorrie also files “bad faith” lawsuits against insurance companies who deny claims unlawfully, or engage in bad faith tactics, such as delay or failing to adequately investigate a claim. In addition, Lorrie has extensive experience litigating wrongful termination, wage and hour, and discrimination lawsuits against employers.
Over the course of her career as an attorney for individuals, Lorrie has helped recover millions of dollars for her clients. Lorrie is known in the legal community as a bold and effective negotiator who delivers substantial results. Additionally, Lorrie has extensive experience representing underprivileged and disadvantaged clients. Lorrie graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as managing editor of the Texas Journal of Women and the Law. Lorrie worked extensively with the Children’s Rights Clinic while in law school, representing children’s interests in cases where the state seeks custody or termination of parental rights based on abuse and neglect. Additionally, Lorrie has been a volunteer with domestic violence advocacy groups for over 15 years.
Lorrie lives in Mission Hills with her husband, their daughter and two dogs.
